Honouring Tamil Heritage Through Design

As an experienced T-shirt and graphic designer, I’ve spent years shaping iconic visuals—most notably by designing the Chennai Super Kings Training Jersey and the Junior Super Kings Jersey from 2018 to 2024. Every stroke, colour, and texture I worked on was crafted to match the energy of millions of fans.

During the silent, uncertain days of the 2020 pandemic, I found myself returning to one of the strongest pillars of Tamil culture—Thirukkural. Inspired by its timeless wisdom, I created a typographic artwork that blends classical Tamil literature with contemporary design. The response was heartwarming, and many encouraged me to take this design to the world.

Today, that same Thirukkural artwork is reborn as a T-shirt under the T-Sattai brand, carrying the soul of our language in a modern, wearable form.
